Upper Siang District - Population 2011-2024

An official Census 2011 detail of Upper Siang, a district of Arunachal Pradesh has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Arunachal Pradesh. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Upper Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh.

In 2011, Upper Siang had population of 35,320 of which male and female were 18,699 and 16,621 respectively. In 2001 census, Upper Siang had a population of 33,363 of which males were 18,057 and remaining 15,306 were females. Upper Siang District population constituted 2.55 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Upper Siang District was at 3.04 percent of Maharashtra population.

There was change of 5.87 percent in the population compared to population as per 2001. In the previous census of India 2001, Upper Siang District recorded increase of 20.10 percent to its population compared to 1991.

Upper Siang Child Population

In census enumeration, data regarding child under 0-6 age were also collected for all districts including Upper Siang. There were total 4,988 children under age of 0-6 against 6,396 of 2001 census.
