Least Densely Populated states of India
We have got the list of states with lowest population density per sq km. The states are sparsely populated but have huge areas under administration. All such states are bit remote with extreme climate and location. Currently Arunachal Pradesh tops the ranking of least population density states with density of 17 per sq. km. Other states and union territory that also tops includes Andaman Nicobar Islands, Mizoram, Jammu & Kashmir and Sikkim.
