An official Census 2011 detail of Bangalore Rural (Bengaluru Rural), a district of Karnataka has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Karnataka. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Bangalore Rural District of Karnataka.

In 2011, Bangalore Rural had population of 990,923 of which male and female were 509,172 and 481,751 respectively. In 2001 census, Bangalore Rural had a population of 850,968 of which males were 437,489 and remaining 413,479 were females.
