Khordha (Khurda) District - Population 2011-2024

An official Census 2011 detail of Khordha (Khurda), a district of Orissa has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Orissa. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Khordha District of Orissa.

In 2011, Khordha had population of 2,251,673 of which male and female were 1,167,137 and 1,084,536 respectively. In 2001 census, Khordha had a population of 1,877,395 of which males were 986,886 and remaining 890,509 were females. Khordha District population constituted 5.36 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Khordha District was at 5.10 percent of Maharashtra population.

There was change of 19.94 percent in the population compared to population as per 2001. In the previous census of India 2001, Khordha District recorded increase of 24.99 percent to its population compared to 1991.


Khordha Literacy Rate

Average literacy rate of Khordha in 2011 were 86.88 compared to 86.88 of 2001. If things are looked out at gender wise, male and female literacy were 91.78 and 81.61 respectively. Khordha Child Population

In census enumeration, data regarding child under 0-6 age were also collected for all districts including Khordha. There were total 237,394 children under age of 0-6 against 230,471 of 2001 census.
