Jaipur District - Population 2011-2024

An official Census 2011 detail of Jaipur, a district of Rajasthan has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Rajasthan. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Jaipur District of Rajasthan.

In 2011, Jaipur had population of 6,626,178 of which male and female were 3,468,507 and 3,157,671 respectively. In 2001 census, Jaipur had a population of 5,251,071 of which males were 2,768,203 and remaining 2,482,868 were females. Jaipur District population constituted 9.67 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Jaipur District was at 9.29 percent of Maharashtra population.

There was change of 26.19 percent in the population compared to population as per 2001. In the previous census of India 2001, Jaipur District recorded increase of 32.40 percent to its population compared to 1991.


Jaipur Literacy Rate

Average literacy rate of Jaipur in 2011 were 75.51 compared to 75.51 of 2001. If things are looked out at gender wise, male and female literacy were 86.05 and 64.02 respectively. Jaipur Child Population
