Etah District - Population 2011-2024

An official Census 2011 detail of Etah, a district of Uttar Pradesh has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Uttar Pradesh. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Etah District of Uttar Pradesh.

In 2011, Etah had population of 1,774,480 of which male and female were 947,339 and 827,141 respectively. In 2001 census, Etah had a population of 1,561,705 of which males were 844,165 and remaining 717,540 were females. Etah District population constituted 0.89 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Etah District was at 0.94 percent of Maharashtra population.

There was change of 13.62 percent in the population compared to population as per 2001. In the previous census of India 2001, Etah District recorded increase of 24.53 percent to its population compared to 1991.


Etah Literacy Rate

Average literacy rate of Etah in 2011 were 70.81 compared to 70.81 of 2001. If things are looked out at gender wise, male and female literacy were 81.28 and 58.80 respectively. For 2001 census, same figures stood at 72.64 and 43.43 in Etah District. Total literate in Etah District were 1,055,202 of which male and female were 647,042 and 408,160 respectively. Etah Child Population

In census enumeration, data regarding child under 0-6 age were also collected for all districts including Etah. There were total 284,227 children under age of 0-6 against 307,947 of 2001 census.
