An official Census 2011 detail of Rajouri, a district of Jammu and Kashmir has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Jammu and Kashmir. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Rajouri District of Jammu and Kashmir.

In 2011, Rajouri had population of 642,415 of which male and female were 345,351 and 297,064 respectively. In 2001 census, Rajouri had a population of 483,284 of which males were 257,336 and remaining 225,948 were females. Rajouri District population constituted 5.12 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Rajouri District was at 4.76 percent of Maharashtra population.
