Ramban District - Population 2011-2024

An official Census 2011 detail of Ramban, a district of Jammu and Kashmir has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Jammu and Kashmir. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Ramban District of Jammu and Kashmir.

In 2011, Ramban had population of 283,713 of which male and female were 149,132 and 134,581 respectively. In 2001 census, Ramban had a population of 214,944 of which males were 113,767 and remaining 101,177 were females. Ramban District population constituted 2.26 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Ramban District was at 2.12 percent of Maharashtra population.

There was change of 31.99 percent in the population compared to population as per 2001. In the previous census of India 2001, Ramban District recorded increase of 26.91 percent to its population compared to 1991.


Ramban Literacy Rate
