In 2011, YSR had population of 2,882,469 of which male and female were 1,451,777 and 1,430,692 respectively. In 2001 census, YSR had a population of 2,601,797 of which males

In census enumeration, data regarding child under 0-6 age were also collected for all districts including YSR. There were total 331,586 children under age of 0-6 against 340,663 of 2001 census.
