In 2011, Gurgaon had population of 1,514,432 of which male and female were 816,690 and 697,742 respectively. In 2001 census, Gurgaon had a population of 870,539 of which males
were 470,504 and remaining 400,035 were females. Gurgaon District population
constituted 5.97 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Gurgaon District was at 4.12
percent of Maharashtra population.
There was change of 73.96 percent in the population compared to population as per 2001. In the previous census of India 2001, Gurgaon District recorded increase
of 44.15 percent to its population compared to 1991.
Gurgaon Literacy Rate
