An official Census 2011 detail of Bilaspur, a district of Himachal Pradesh has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Himachal Pradesh. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Bilaspur District of Himachal Pradesh.

In 2011, Bilaspur had population of 381,956 of which male and female were 192,764 and 189,192 respectively. In 2001 census, Bilaspur had a population of 340,885 of which males were 171,263 and remaining 169,622 were females. Bilaspur District population constituted 5.56 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Bilaspur District was at 5.61 percent of Maharashtra population.
