Churu District - Population 2011-2024

An official Census 2011 detail of Churu, a district of Rajasthan has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Rajasthan. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Churu District of Rajasthan.

In 2011, Churu had population of 2,039,547 of which male and female were 1,051,446 and 988,101 respectively. In 2001 census, Churu had a population of 1,923,878 of which males were 987,781 and remaining 936,097 were females. Churu District population constituted 2.98 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Churu District was at 3.40 percent of Maharashtra population.

There was change of 6.01 percent in the population compared to population as per 2001. In the previous census of India 2001, Churu District recorded increase of 26.08 percent to its population compared to 1991.


Churu Literacy Rate

Average literacy rate of Churu in 2011 were 66.75 compared to 66.75 of 2001. If things are looked out at gender wise, male and female literacy were 78.78 and 54.04 respectively. Churu Child Population

In census enumeration, data regarding child under 0-6 age were also collected for all districts including Churu. There were total 317,813 children under age of 0-6 against 383,914 of 2001 census.
