An official Census 2011 detail of Jhalawar, a district of Rajasthan has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Rajasthan. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in Jhalawar District of Rajasthan.

In 2011, Jhalawar had population of 1,411,129 of which male and female were 725,143 and 685,986 respectively. In 2001 census, Jhalawar had a population of 1,180,323 of which males were 612,804 and remaining 567,519 were females. Jhalawar District population constituted 2.06 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Jhalawar District was at 2.09 percent of Maharashtra population.
