North Sikkim District - Population 2011-2024

An official Census 2011 detail of North Sikkim, a district of Sikkim has been released by Directorate of Census Operations in Sikkim. Enumeration of key persons was also done by census officials in North Sikkim District of Sikkim.

In 2011, North Sikkim had population of 43,709 of which male and female were 24,730 and 18,979 respectively. In 2001 census, North Sikkim had a population of 41,030 of which males were 23,414 and remaining 17,616 were females. North Sikkim District population constituted 7.16 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for North Sikkim District was at 7.59 percent of Maharashtra population.

There was change of 6.53 percent in the population compared to population as per 2001. In the previous census of India 2001, North Sikkim District recorded increase of 31.34 percent to its population compared to 1991.


North Sikkim Literacy Rate
