In 2011, Lakshadweep had population of 64,473 of which male and female were 33,123 and 31,350 respectively. In 2001 census, Lakshadweep had a population of 60,650 of which males were 31,131 and remaining 29,519 were females. Lakshadweep District population constituted 100.00 percent of total Maharashtra population. In 2001 census, this figure for Lakshadweep District was at 100.00 percent of Maharashtra population.
