In 2011, Kanpur Nagar had population of 4,581,268 of which male and female were 2,459,806 and 2,121,462 respectively. In 2001 census, Kanpur Nagar had a population of 4,167,999 of which males were 2,247,216 and remaining 1,920,783 were females.
